Personal Trainer & SAQ Wiltshire....

If you are thinking of working with a Personal Trainer  for anything from weight loss to self defense, rehab exercise then its crucial that the personal trainer is right for you. To help make sure of this, at your first session we will do a Health and Fitness assessment! This allows us to see if we will be productive together in achieving your goals. We also discuss and identify your targets and current life style. We will then plan possible ways forward. We will then go through a warm up session have a fun taster session....If you and I are both happy with the session, you will be entitled to a Free Session Worth £35 if you book six sessions in advance!!

Weight/ Fat Loss - Slimming? for you to be successful in your weight/ fat loss targets we will need to identify where improvements can be made in your lifestyle and then I'll support you in actioning them. I'll devise a personal exercise program tailored specially for your needs and then support and encourage you to maximize your true potential in achieving your goals.

Improve Your General Fitness - improving your general fitness can unlock many doors for you. After just a few sessions you'll feel livelier, happier and more able to cope with the world and everything it has to throw at you. You'll enjoy your exercise sessions with me and it won’t eat into your personal time, freeing up more time to enjoy the finer things in life. Very soon you'll begin to see and feel the benefits of regular exercise with a personal trainer.

Injury or Illness Rehab - injury or illness rehab follows any injury or sickness where the body and mind are left weak and drained -it can be very difficult to get back to 'fighting fit', level which will allow you to deal with the normal day to day life style you enjoyed before. This is where rehabilitation training can so useful in getting you back on track. After an initial consultation I'll devise a personally tailored rehab program for you and support you through it until you succeed.
This is how I can help you:
1.Following an injury rehab training can support and facilitate the patients physiotherapy program and so speed recovery.
2. Following illness the body and mind are exhausted and weak, both elements will need nurturing back to health. My program will support your body with gradual progressive exercises and appropriate diets while I'll support your mind by giving support and encouragement. I'll also acknowledge your progress and achievements which is so important for moral but so often ignored in modern medicine.

Sports Specific Training - are you getting really interested in a sport and want to optimize your potential as fast as possible? or are you already training and want to improve your performance but don't know how?
Then Sports Specific Training could just be the thing for you. Sports Specific Training is a program designed to develop the skills and muscular strength and endurance required to participate in a given sport. What this means is a runner will use very different skills and muscles compared to a golfer - the runner mainly being lower body and the golfer being upper body. Specific exercises targeting these different areas will develop the muscles and muscular coordination to improve your skills in your chosen sport.

Self Defence - do want to know how to protect yourself and so be more confident in today's society? Self defense training is the perfect way to achieve this and also has the beneficial advantage of making you 'fighting' fit!! I am a Black Belt and Assistant Instructor in Tae Kwon Do and combine this with my thorough knowledge of muscles, exercises and how the body works makes me the perfect training coach and partner. You can either train exclusively with me, which on a one to one basis offers the fastest route for learning and improvement, or you can have extra lessons with me to improve technique if you already train at a club.

SAQ - speed agility & quickness training (plyometrics) in international sport is the training phenomenon that has been growing in popularity over the past decade. SAQ develops fundamental movement skills that can be transferred to all sporting activities and, more importantly, everyday life. Because SAQ develops basic fundamental movement skills it is useful training to ease movement difficulties or help to develop co-ordination for people with dyspraxia
Following a personal consultation and movement assessment I will devise you a speed, agility and quickness program that will not only be suited to your present needs and abilities but will also stretch and develop them giving you a greater range of movement and better co-ordination.
